1 В начале Бог сотворил небеса и землю.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth
2 Земля была бесформенна и пуста, и тьма была на лице бездны. И Дух Божий носился над лицем вод.
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Затем Бог сказал: "Пусть будет свет", и стал свет.
Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.
4 И Бог увидел свет, что он был хорош, и Бог отделил свет от тьмы.
And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 Бог назвал свет днем, а тьму назвал ночью. Итак вечер и утро были первым днем.
God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 Затем Бог сказал: "Пусть будет твердь посередине вод, и пусть она отделяет воды от вод".
Then God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters."
7 Таким образом Бог создал твердь, и разделил воды, которые были под твердью от вод, которые были над твердью. И это было так.
Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.
8 И Бог назвал твердь Небом. Итак вечер и утро были вторым днем.
And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 Затем Бог сказал: "Пусть воды под небесами соберутся в одно место, и пусть сухая земля появится". И было так.
Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so.
10 И Бог назвал сухую землю Землей, а собранные вместе воды Он назвал морями. И Бог увидел, что это было хорошо.
And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
11 Затем Бог сказал: "Пусть земля произрастит траву, растение которого производит семя, и дерево плодовое, которое производит плод по роду своему, которого семя находится на земле, и было так.
Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so.
12 И земля произвела траву, растение которого производит семя в соответствии со своим родом, и дерево, которое производит плод, чье семя в себе самом в соответствии со своим родом. И Бог увидел, что это было хорошо.
And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
13 Итак, вечер и утро были третьим днем.
So the evening and the morning were the third day.
14 Затем Бог сказал: "Пусть будут светила на тверди небесной для отделения дня от ночи, и для знамений и сезонов, и для дней и годов.
Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;
15 И пусть будут светила на тверди небесной для того, чтобы давать свет на землю". И было так.
and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so.
16 Затем Бог сделал два великих светила: большее светило для управления днем, и меньшее для управления ночью. Он сделал также звезды.
Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.
17 Бог установил их на тверди небесной давать свет на землю,
God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,
18 и управлять днем и ночью, и отделять свет от тьмы. И Бог увидел, что это было хорошо.
and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
19 Итак вечер и утро были четвертым днем.
So the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20 Затем Бог сказал: "Пусть воды воскишат обилием живых творений, и пусть птицы полетят над землей через лицо тверди небесной".
Then God said, "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens."
21 Итак, Бог сотворил великие морские создания и всякую живность, которая движется, которыми воды изобиловали, в соответствии с родом, и всякую крылатую птицу по своему роду. И Бог увидел, что это было хорошо.
So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
22 И Бог благословил их, говоря: "Будьте плодоносны и размножайтесь, наполняйте воды в морях, и пусть птицы размножаются на земле".
And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth."
23 Итак, вечер и утро были пятым днем.
So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 Затем Бог сказал: "Пусть земля произведет живые существа по роду своему: скот, ползающее и зверей земных, каждый по роду своему". И было так.
Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind"; and it was so.
25 И Бог создал зверей земных по роду своему, и все, что ползает на земле по роду своему. И Бог увидел, что это было хорошо.
And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
26 Затем Бог сказал: "Сотворим человека по Нашему образу, по Нашему подобию, пусть они владычествуют над рыбами морскими, над птицами небесными, над скотом, над всею землей, и над ползающими на земле".
Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
27 Итак Бог сотворил человека по Своему образу, по образу Божьему Он сотворил его, мужчину и женщину Он сотворил их.
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
28 Затем Бог благословил их и Бог сказал им: "Будьте плодоносны, и размножайтесь, наполняйте землю и покоряйте ее, владычествуйте над рыбами морскими, над птицами небесными, и над всеми живыми существами, что движутся на земле".
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
29 И Бог сказал: "Смотрите, Я дал вам всякое растение, производящее семя, которое есть на лице всей земли, и всякое дерево, чей плод производит семя, вам это будет для пищи.
And God said, "See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.
30 Также каждому зверю земному, и каждой птице небесной, и всякому ползающему на земле, в котором есть жизнь, Я дал всякое зеленое растение для пищи". И было так.
Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food"; and it was so.
31 Затем Бог увидел все, что Он создал, и это было на самом деле очень хорошо. Итак вечер и утро были шестым днем.
Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
