And with each new description, this universe will grow. No, this place was not visited by aliens, and there was no reactor that exploded there. Everything was much simpler, and yet this place was so unbearably complex - multi-layered, unpredictable, and ambiguous!
Several years ago there was a laboratory here. Not even that, there was a big city here, all the residents of which worked in one place, in a laboratory. They were looking for a cure for coronavirus infection here. Then, something went wrong. The space began to distort.
People were evacuated. And then the coronavirus infection ended. Over the course of a year or two or three, this place fell into disrepair. Time jumps changed the city as if nature had ruled this place for at least thirty to fifty years.
The changes continued. Medical instruments, abandoned in a hurry, began to turn into something else. The city was destroyed at incredible speed, buildings sank, and trees, shrubs and flowers, on the contrary, began to grow like crazy. Things from the apartments, also abandoned by the owners, were changed beyond recognition.
For some time, no one suspected anything, until one of the former laboratory employees returned to the abandoned apartment for his belongings. This man came home different, and the few things he brought became different. Since this all started. Soon, stalkers, or, to put it simply, looters, flocked to this place. The news spread, the things taken out of the city suddenly became very valuable. On the black market, you could get very good money in dollars for a certain item. Who and by what parameters determines the value of a thing was a mystery! Soon the authorities learned about the events that were happening in the abandoned city and laboratory, and the city was surrounded by barbed wire and even a checkpoint was hastily built. So, I have given you an idea of the universe that we will build together with you. This universe has a specific name - the Burying Ground.
