Winter

Winter
Dreams the blue of the leas,
leafy forests and valleys and hills.
Flaky blanket of snow dressed the earth,
pure coat sowed by winter and frost.

Flocks of cranes flied away to the south
in deep sorrow, so hard to pronounce.
Little kernel has fallen asleep
to arise from the ground in spring.

When the meadows are opened by glance,
all the poplars and maples will dance.
And the earth will take off her attire,
change for green one, returned to inspire.
