This is eternal question. To be or not to be, to believe or to not... But any way we can't help accept god's existence even if we can't comprehebd his actions or just don't care about him. Thanks, it was very interesting to read)

That's the general idea of the piece- a personal question of faith for a being deemed "inhuman".

To believe in common is an uneasy thing to do. I mean not to doubt, not to complain - just do believe. But we can't keep ourselves from questions - that cuts about a half of our beliefs. Plus difficulties, problems, well, feeling of lonelines! - and we doubt.
Then we ask - why? Just why can't it be another way? And there's something that comes later - understanding that it wasn't for a silly reason.
And we admit there is somebody above. Admit creation, admit some help, prediction...God.

The protagonist of the story doesn't "admit" believing, but he allows himself to assume the possibility of a greater being. Isn't that where true faith begins?

Thank you for your support. But the story isn't about me, it's about a character with purely systemaistic mindset, so if he looked reaslistc to you, then I thank you for the complement.

well, belief is rather absolute love with no questions asked, than just an explanation what you are believing or tending to believe in.

For the narrator of the story, the acceptance of the superior being without asking himself how and why can be seen as belief in god.
