To believe in common is an uneasy thing to do. I mean not to doubt, not to complain - just do believe. But we can't keep ourselves from questions - that cuts about a half of our beliefs. Plus difficulties, problems, well, feeling of lonelines! - and we doubt. Then we ask - why? Just why can't it be another way? And there's something that comes later - understanding that it wasn't for a silly reason. And we admit there is somebody above. Admit creation, admit some help, prediction...God. ? The protagonist of the story doesn't "admit" believing, but he allows himself to assume the possibility of a greater being. Isn't that where true faith begins?
