Little Boots

Once upon a time there was the Little Boots. It was just warm winter boots. Brothers as they were they sure to quarrel.  Simply one of them was naughty a little bit,  but another was tedious a little bit. That is why Naughty  was looking for any adventure, and vice versa Tedious liked to lie in the wardrobe. Now, can you imagine how bad they felt?
They often was quarreling even in the street, during the walking. Naughty too wanted to jump on puddles. Tedious of course was against it.
-I don’t want go in a puddle! - he clamored.- I can catch a cold! Oh, no.
-But it is funny!-Naughty replied.
-I don’t see anything funny!
-What a bore you are!
-But you are mischievous boot!
-Bore!
-Mischievous!
Kate, a little owner of little boots, was punished because of them very often. That is because the little boots were fighting and Kate had come home in a terribly muddy (dirty) boots.
Eventually Kate had become tired of their squabble ([sqwobl] склоки) that is why she decided teach them a lesson .
Once in the evening, when the little boots was going to bed, Kate opened the wardrobe’s door and said sadly:
I don’t want to leave you.
The little boots were astonished, but they say nothing. Rather they made a show of hearing nothing.
-Mother said –Kate went on(продолжать)-you are to be sent. That all because of yours’ bad behavior. Bye-bye!
Then the little boots  were frightened(испугались) very much. They liked to live at Kate's and they didn’t want to be send.
-How it can be? – The Naughty was shocked- to send us because of  foolish quarrel!
-We even were not quarreling, just joking.- the Tedious added.
-Of course!- Naughty began to laugh.
-OK, I’ll discuss it with my Mom. I am sure she’ll forgive you.
Thereafter the Little Boots never had quarrels.
