Yitzhak Gurvich was a sophisticated soviet psychologist who had made an enormous investment in the science. He achieved a lot studying the relationships among adolescent people. At the moment Gurvitch was imprisoned and he was brooding over the period of being appreciated by the colleagues for his profundity of knowledge. But that outrageous injustice condemned him to death. That was difficult to make even an assumption, why the family had to suffer from malnutrition only because of being Jews.
