One night Hedgehog Little went to bed as usual, he closed his eyes but he didn’t fall asleep right away. For a long time he was recalling what he had seen during the day: when he had gone outside, despite the beginning of spring, snow had been still lying everywhere, then Hedgehog Little had been wandering around his little house until he got tired and dropped. Suddenly he felt that someone pet his needles and he didn’t remember anything after that, because he fell asleep till next morning.

In the morning Hedgehog couldn’t figure out what had happened, so he asked Spidy at first, and then Tadpole, but the couldn’t explain anything either.

“We didn’t see anyone- Spidy said- it was dark, we were sleeping, we can’t say anything.”

So, Hedgehog couldn’t do anything but get out of his house and walk mid leg in spring snow to the wise Crow. He told her everything, but didn’t even look surprised.

“Caw!- said Craw- It was a dream, that came to you at night, little Hedgehog. It comes to all of us, so we all will fall asleep at night as soon as possible. So the next day morning will come.”
