Мечтала я давным-давно,
Что стоит жить
И есть надежда,
Что станет вечною любовь,
И Бог простит нас, как и прежде.
Была я смелой, молодой,
Мечта рождалась, умирала,
Давалось всё само собой,
Неспетых песен не бывало.

Тигры ночью вдруг пришли
Нежнее грома голоса их,
Грёзы порваны твои,
В стыд превращены мечты.

Всё лето он со мною спал,
И  жизнь безбрежным чудом стала,
Он хладнокровно детство взял
Моё, но осенью пропал.

Мечтаю я, что он придёт,
И проживём мы вместе годы.
Не всем мечтам моим везёт,
Не все мы выдержим невзгоды.
 
О будущем мечтала я,
Не о кошмаре моей жизни,
Совсем иного я ждала,
Судьба мои мечты сожгла.
