Live Power of the Word

Once Satan called his devils and gave them the task – to recruit God’s Angels.
So a Devil and an Angel met, and the Devil began to prove gloatingly to the Angel:
- Look at me – how black and frightful I am. How disgustful out of anger my mug is. My eyes are burning with anger and malice, and my mouth is curved with gloating smile. No one can stay tranquil looking at me. All are in fear before me, all thrill with horror. Their will abandons them, for they are seized with terror, and they are mine! Ha-ha!..
The Angel smiled, and the fire of love burned in his eyes.
- You are right – no one can stay tranquil, looking at such perfect God’s creation…
The Devil pricked his ears.
- Your eyes are radiant with love, and they fill with warmth and joy the soul looking in them. Your face is beautiful and light, and it reflects in sincerity and simplicity your soul’s openness. And your smile expresses happiness of being Creator’s child.
- Everyone seeing you wants to resemble you in love and joy, and kindness…
The Devil was at a loss hearing such things.
What the hell he’s talking of? He must be insane…
But no, this is impossible!
He grew thoughtful… and malicious grin left his face, and spite was off his eyes.
At a loss he seriously looked at the Angel.
- But yes, you just don’t see yourself from aside. And you are beautiful. – The fire of Love again was burning in the Angel’s eyes.
The Devil got confused – and his face got free from the mask of hatred and spite. It became thoughtful and even a little sad.
“Uncle, take my car. It will help you!” – a little human boy-child came up to them, without fear, but with the wish to help. He was offering his favorite toy.
… The Devil’s eyes were filled with tears, and the two streams washed away the last spots of blackness.
And black became white. And there was one more Angel among God’s warriors.
