The curious occasion

The story took place in the small town of Barrie, to the north from Toronto. John, our character, was going by bus to the east part
of the town, dully looking at the window in which you could see pedestrians who were strolling along the streets. John was a tall, slender
man, with dark blue eyes, straight nose and short curly hair. When he turned his head to the left he instantly caught sight of a girl sitting
at the end of the bus. At the first blush, she was as ordinary as someone who was there. Nevertheless, she was the only person who attracted his attention.
It didn't last long though. You know it's not prohibited to look in someone's eyes for a long time if you're two lovers, but it would be a bad way of behaving
if you tried to do it with a stranger. That's why John turned his head to the window as soon as she took a look at him. John smiled, but tried to hide
his expression by pursing his lips.
On the next station she instantly got out of the bus and went to unknown direction. John was confused for awhile, then he also went out. Finally,
he was looking for her in embarrassment. When he found where she was, he hurried up in this direction, calling for her. Suddenly she slowly turned back,
and began to move in opposite direction, it took her a small period of time, so she wasn't walking now, she was running.
However, she was stopped by John whose embarrassment was the same as hers. He shortly explained the matter about which she was already awared. The thing is,
she had forgotten her bag in the bus. It was given back, but yet she had a worried look:
"It's yours," said John, offering a bag.
"Thank you... so much," uttered she with admiration," I'm sorry... you... I'll give you money to..."
"It's okey. It's my station," interrupted he, smiling.
"Really?"
"Yes, Kate," said he, nodding.
Her brows were immediately raised, it was a sign of a surprise.
Both Kate and John were silent, walking along the street,  as if they kept mum. There wasn't told a word, the occasion was understandable for them.
"It's my home," said Kate at last."What's it?" Kate pointed to the paper in John's hands.
"Oh... I won the local competition... in tennis," John murmured.
"My congratulations," she said softly. The wide smile spread on her face.
It can't be told in which manner it was told. It was such a mysterious and attrahent tone, so he was admired. His heart melted with joy because
she was so close and so far as well. He was charmed by her appearance, beautiful, tender, and sweet, with straight long dark hair. Her disarming
smile drove him mad. I guess he might look at her face forever, trying to catch her striking, soft features, for it attracted him the most. Emotions
expressed again and again, but they were still pretty.
"And have we met before?" she inquired." According to your cheque, you're John. I'm Kate, and you know it, but I still don't understand how you found it out!"
"You won't believe me," said he with confidence," but we had met in a bus four times in a row.
Kate raised her eyebrows again, though it didn't last long, for astonishment is over when the nature of a surprise is known.
"Amazing,... almost impossible," she exclaimed. Then she turned to the door, but John was still, waiting for something. He hesitated a little.
"See you, then."
"Take care."
After Kate went in, he slowly moved towards the bus stop to catch a bus to his home.
Nobody knows what it really means, though everyone knows when it comes. It is everywhere, and one hardly can prove or diny its existance.
As a rule it invades so unexpectedly that we have no time to think about it because we are already seized by the the atmosphere of this extraterrestrial,
magnificent feeling - love.
