Hate
October 7, 9 a.m.:
She woke up and got off the bed. Then she dressed, took her bag and went away.
3 p.m.:
She came home with two girlfriends, they sat down on the bed and talked for a while. Then they went to the kitchen. It was a long noise from there, sounded like they were cooking. Also they were laughing and singing. But sometimes she sang alone. She had an excellent mild voice. She always sang minor sad songs which made everybody drop tears. But that day it was gonna be a celebration where nobody would be sad. Her sixteenth birthday.
6 p.m.:
Someone was knocking at the door. Her friends came in and made a big noise in the guestroom. All of them went to the kitchen, and in a while all house was already caught by crazy fun.
11 p.m.:
Guys began to go away. Finally, it became absolutely quiet. She came into the room and put CDs on the shelf. Then a guy came in, probably, the guy she dated with every evening. He came to her and kissed. Then he hugged her and kissed again. They came to bed and lay on it continuing kissing. As they lay on it, I fell down the floor and buried my face in the parquet but no one took me up. And I decided just to wait until all that noise on the bed would be over.
October 8, 7 a.m.:
The guy got up quietly and put on his clothes. Accidentally, he stepped on me and threw me to the corner of the room. Then he went away.
10 a.m.:
She woke up and called someone's name, it must be his one. Nobody replied. She looked around and found that there were no his things in the room. She felt disappointed and sat on the bed. Then she saw me lying on the floor and took in her hands.
6 p.m.:
She was sitting on the bad and watching the phone for a half of an hour. Nobody called.
November 20, 7 p.m.:
She gave a short look at the phone and began reading something. This week she already didn't cry in the evenings because of that guy. He hadn't called since her birthday. Firstly, she was disappointed. But now she was happy with her life again.
January 5, a new year, 2 p.m.:
She phoned her girlfriend and talked to her for long. She was cheerful but then her face's expression changed. She disconnected the phone, took her things and ran somewhere. She had a very worried look.
January 8, 3 p.m.:
She came home sad and with tears holding in her hands an envelope with the inscription: "HIV test". She took a paper out of it and looked what was written there. "Result is positive". She closed her eyes and opened again. "Result is positive". She sat on the bed, hugged me and began to cry. Who is that Hiv? Why is she crying because of him? She didn't cry like this even when that guy stopped to call.
July 21, 6 p.m.:
Since that strange Hiv appeared in her life, she seldom smiled and almost never laughed. Unknown Hiv made her cry very often. He didn't phone her, didn't date her, only sometimes she went somewhere and came back with tears again. Today she was just sitting on the bed and singing silently a sad song.
5 years passed:
I recall her in my mind every day. Two and a half years ago she lost flesh a lot, then she picked up some stuff and was taken to somewhere. She didn't come home any more. All because of that Hiv! Once her room was tided up, and since then no one touched her things.
…
I'm just a teddy bear sitting in the corner of the bed for two last years. I'm just a teddy bear and I don't know who is that Hiv but I already hate him because she is gone forever…
