Two carrots

          This tale is ONLY for children. I don’t recommend grown-ups to read it. It’s boring

          Once upon a time lived a little man, whose name was Alan. He was really a little one, because his height  was ONLY 30 cm. One day Alan fell in love with a tall girl She was 175 cm high. He was very-very sad. How he, with his small arms and legs, with his small head can offer her his love?!  So, Alan came to a magician. By the way, the magic qualities of that magician were very strong. He could do everything he wanted. That wizard could easily change any rich man into a beggar and vice versa, a sick man into a healthy one. Alan was sure in success.  So, he asked the wizard to help him. The magician gave Alan two carrots
- If you eat this one, your height  will raise 1 cm with every your step. But if you eat this carrot, your height’ll decrease with every step.
-  Thanks a lot. – And Alan ate a piece of the first carrot and went to the mirror in the other end  of the room. There were about 200 his steps  So, when he came to the mirror, his height was … 230 cm. But he didn’t want to be SO tall. Then he ate a piece of the second carrot and moved back. When he was in the middle of the room, his height  became 190 cm. It was his favourite one. Now he wanted neither raise, nor decrease it. And what to do? Alan ate BOTH carrots, and moved further. When he came to the wizard, his height didn’t change. It was 190 cm. Alan was very happy. As well as he was very handsome, that girl married him
