Intelligentsia yesterday, today and -?

Few people will be interested in such a name of an article. For example: «Such a cow I need myself» - a loud title. Secret and extravagant life facts of famous, not so known and absolutely mediocre people are revealed before readers.
Intelligentsia (of Latin origin «intelligens» – intelligent, thinking, rational) – a dictionary defines as social layer of people, who are professionally engaged in intellectual, mainly difficult, creative work, development and culture dissemination. The term «intelligentsia» is introduced by the writer P. D.  Boborykin (in 60s XIX c). Intelligentsia is heterogeneous as for the members and belongs or joins to different social classes, interests of which it comprehends, serves and expresses.
At the end of the previous century at the background of social structure the sense of the concept «intelligentsia» absorbed wider concepts and defined not only professional belonging, but also community of people's moral look with behavior culture and life style.
Russia experienced revolutionary changes, when stable canons of social society changed into postindustrial society with all capitalist characteristics.
A culture specialist works in a completely different production sphere and, as a rule, he only reaches perverted culture understanding instead of traditionally classical or innovative, progressive. Already classic, Russian philosopher N. Berdnev spoke about two principals in culture development: conservative and creative. Conservatism is a tradition. «Culture is impossible without tradition, without succession» (Berdnev N.А. «Philosophy of inequality», М., 1990). That is to say a tradition is the beginning, which «saves a quality of any culture», «… Policy of borders extension according the scheme of polyculturism really is a policy of borders washing out of a unified culture territory, made by centuries-old Russian history…».
«…On the other hand, postmodernism principle of deconstruction in conditions of ecanstationally not stable society acquires just provoking character, because appeals to relate critically towards historically formed values that join integrity and solidarity of statements».
Already at the beginning of the previous century «… a part of Russian intelligentsia after the October revolution turned to be in emigration, … the most talented young Russian scientists and philisophers», as a historian A. V. Sobolev writes («Principles», Religion-philisophy magazine, № 4, М., 1992). In the Homeland canvas of censorship and art politicization existed.
Today the society has shaken up and such a scrape had not been for a long time. Of cause art is for art, as previously, but an inhabitant, as previously, always will consider himself in his own «world» an intelligent and cultured person. But can such a person be defined in former concepts? What coincides with his/her today's level?
In the press, on the television and radio an open discussion sometimes takes place about a role of a contemporary intelligent and his place in the society… Contradictory statements… Even the word itself «intelligent» nowadays is very rarely used. Further reflections will not lead towards definite regulariries, and they are not needed. Already in 1998 Doctor of Sociology I.А. Butenko in the book «Quality of leisure time within rich and poor», proceeding from sociological questioning and researches concluded different regularities of pastime: hobby, reading,  tele-, radiobroadcast, spending weekends and other. As the reference point he took profit for one member of the family: rich - $1000, poor - $100.
The concept «intellectual» is professional.
Some people will object, that culture heritage develops in art, science, politics, when different parties, movements, culture interest circles exist. Nevertheless everything leads to one financial «side of a medal». And if a neatly dressed person and a homeless person from a basement meet each other, what we can then say on the question of intelligentsia?... The question is open…
