Artemis and Aphrodite

The goddess of love, Aphrodite and the goddess of hunting Artemis did not like each other. Always.

One day, the goddess of hunting Artemis fell in love with a usual man or mortal hero Theseus.

She threw his quiver and arrows, and put most rich clothes.

She drove away her friends - nymphs- hunters and scored maids who cared for her and did elaborate hairstyles.

Artemis sat down on the chariot, and went to where our hero was fast asleep ...

BUT! the goddess of love Aphrodite was sitting near sleeping hero.

- GO AWAY, Artemis, -Aphrodite said. -He does not love you but me only!

Artemis lowered her head ... She did not know how the goddess of love is treacherous and deceitful.

Instead of her friends - nymphs were stupid maidgirls ...

Artemis left Theseus.

When our hero woke up, he did not see the next anybody.
