To Whom It May Concern:

RE: Security of Israel

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please beware that I am a mere Israeli citizen who was born and raised to a Jewish family in a tiny town in South-Western Ukraine. Despite the profound influence of the so-called "Soviet propaganda" I have absorbed the values of belonging to the Chosen People. It has happened, due to my surrounding among whom I had been deeply impacted by my English Instructor, a born American lady (G-d bless her memory).

I was happy to arrive in Israel on the first Candle of Hannukah, 1990.
My wife and I have managed to build a warm and hospitable home in this country and we are happy to be proud parents of two adult sons who have given us the most precious gifts on Earth, our granddaughters, Li El of 3 years and 4 months and Danielle who has just turned 1 month.

It is not a mere fact that each and every year the Israeli media covers an important event that is being honored by Israeli Prime Minister. And that is APAC Annual Conference. And everyone here in this country knows that the US Jewry stands behind us.

As it is stated, "The mission of AIPAC is to strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of Israel and the United States."

Now I would like to concentrate on the part of APAC Mission "to enhance the security of Israel and the United States".

We, the Israelis, are proud to see overwhelming support of the American Jews who demonstrate in our support all over the USA.

We are pleased to see sophisticated weaponry stamped "Made in the USA" that serves to secure our existence.

All that certainly gives us hope that our overseas sisters and brothers will never ever betray Israel, a small country surrounded by hostile states.

However, the recent developments decrease my awareness in unanimous support of the US Jews in the Holy Course of defending the State of Israel in the war for its existence. What I mean is the ban on the side of the US President, Barack Obama on certain types of bombs for Apache helicopters.

Don't you, Americans, realize that we are located at the front-lines of the fight against world terrorism? There is an English idiom that says: "As the Maine goes, so goes the nation ". I would dare to slightly alter this expression as per the global threat of terrorism: "As Israel, so goes the world"
Have you, the citizens of the USA forgotten 9/11? We have always been behind you when it comes to promotion of your national security.
 
Beware: Strong Israel guarantees peaceful and prosperous United States. G-d forbid, something evil happens to us here, your secure existence will immediately come to a halt.

So do your best to guard us here and we will protect you there, overseas!
Act! Show the US Administration your ability to actively lobby Israel!
