The animal order

Once the farm animals had enough with the man using them, and they’ve decided to kick the owner out.
“Our landlord is so mean,” the pigs complained. “Some of us are sold, some are slaughtered, and we live here in constant fear.”
“And he doesn’t appreciate us one bit,” the dogs barked. “We guard his house, we fetch his game, and he barely throws us a bone.”
“We work like horses all day long,” the stallions resented. “And at the evening all we get is a handful of straw and a bucket of water.”
Only the cows didn’t complain, but they were the minority, so the herd mass has decided to tear the farm down and in its stead to set a reservation with an iron fence, in which each gives what he can, and earns what he deserves.

Life is good for the animals in the reservation, but not for everyone. The cows miss their owner, and there’s no one to milk them- and the poor souls suffer. And the dogs aren’t happy:
“Once the good dog got the best bones, and now we’re all equal, so we’re losing interest here.”
“And how miserable are we,” the pigs bemoaned. “Now we have to look for food by ourselves: you eat what you find. We’re not horses, to graze. Where’s the justice?”
The animals had debated, and decided that in order to satisfy all the requests and for a better future some things have to chance. And not just that, but also to have the humans watch the cows, and to feed the weak groups near the pigsty, and to reward the good watchmen and to keep the work horses from overburden. So the animals had built a zoo, where each gives what he can, each gets what he needs.

The cows are happy- they’re getting fed, they’re getting milked and no worries in the world. The pigs are happy- they’ve forgotten what digging was, all they do is lie around and grow fat. The through is always full of food, and there’s no knife to fear. But the horses got harnessed as much as possible, saying that they’re strong, healthy and hard working- so they should help their mates: all kinds of pigs and any other animals in need.
The stallions grew indignant, for what’s with the farming order restored? Where’s the promised freedom and why do only the lazy ones get the good life? So the whole herd went to the dogs to gain support:
“Help,” say they, “to change the unwanted ways. You’re predators, almost wolves, aren’t you bored and demeaned by living in the zoo?”
“Right,” howled the pack, “It’s time to bite the bullet. Things are meant to be ruled bu a pack with an elected leader. But without your strength we can’t tear down the barriers and won’t be able to turn the present ways around.”

And so, the dogs and the herd had a revolt in the zoo. The humans had scattered in fear, the animals had went each to his way. And on the place of the zoo, a real jungle grew quite quickly, where each to his own. Besides, some predators had turned up there, the kind that even the dogs were afraid to bark at.
