Americans Alaska helped Russian Orthodox students

Marin, I for two years he studied Orthodox theology at the Technical University in Murmansk, and study of all Russian students-theologians for two years was paid by the religious organization from the USA ( Presbyterian Church). They were Protestants from Alaska ( Russian Alaska). Pastor David came from the United States to Murmansk and communicated with students-theologians. In Alaska a lot of Orthodox churches, Aleuts and colosi there are Orthodox, as they were baptized in the 19th century Russian missionaries. And white Protestants Alaska interested in Orthodoxy. Our government refused to pay for training at least 10 of the theology students. The Russian state today recognizes only the mass of atheistic education, as in the Russian government there are still many Communists. And in Murmansk was never and now no higher theological educational institutions. Thank God, now, thanks to the help of the people of Alaska, we have a small office of theology. We are grateful to those who helped us.
