The illiterate libido

Once upon a time ... I was young, skinny, unprepossessing girl who all female features had masked carefully - away from sin. The youth was marked by the strategic task to hide externality the way I could never be found. But! At the appropriate moment I should shine with my brilliant intellect and to cramp the jaw and the rest of the male components. A sort of a clever magician.

It happened that time I had a very wealthy admirer. Alas, he was out of my topic: he had a wifeand a mistress; also beautiful contenders for any of the above roles were twisting around him, plus a huge amount of money in hus pockets. So I went into hiding: run, rejected gifts, and did not yield at small blackmails. When I got tired of his insistence and our run-follow games I decided to fight back the last but a well-aimed blow:

- There are so many beautiful girls who woukd consider to be with you for the happiness and -  immediately. Why do you waste your time and nerves to pursuit me?

The answer contained a killing argument:

- Unfortunately, I can be excited only by intellectual woman.

I had nothing to say back only sympathized him reservedly. Anyway I run from him for good and all.

Fifteen years passed. The longtime admirer drew on my horizon again. The life was not kind to him. The mistress was offended that she did not become his wife and ravaged his business.  The wife was offended for all his betrayals and took his apartment.  Along two months he tried to persuade me by phone to meet. He wanted to talk for life. Finally, we met.

He looked as a complete loser: nor gloss externally, nor internally. He mumbled something about the great prospects of his media now-how for European market (he has always been a dreamer, when he was reach he was going to shoot the movie not less than in Hollywood). He asked me about my personal life. To respond, I reminded him our past conversation:

- It turned out I have the same problem. I cannot be with stupid men Unfortunately, there are no clever men around.

-  Do you understand me now? - the former challenger sighed. - I remembered about you all those years as about the most vivid feeling of my life. Huh, maybe, we can…? - he looked expectantly at me.

- No, Vadim, I cannot drink so much - I said firmly.

Anyway I allowed him to call me as a friend.

He calls.
