Sergey Zhanoff-Swami Yogananda Spiritual Biography

Sergey Zhanoff (Swami Yogananda) apprentice of Mahavatar Babaji (immortal Himalayan Saint) Devotionally has been following the Way of Spiritual Realization for more than 30 years now. He started to practice Meditation and Qui-Cung being 15 years old with Alexander Moskvin - apprentice of Master Zhang Shan Min – Chinese Master of Ba-Qua-Zhang and Xing-Yi-Quan. Later he seriously studied an Internal Martial Art (Kun-Fu) of Xing-Yi-Quan.

Simultaneously he deeply studied different diets and systems of healing food (like Ayurveda, Macrobiotics, Shelton) to find a way of healing human deceases with right combination of food and spices, that ended up with development of System of Healing Food.

Meanwhile he succeeded in social studies – Master of World Economics - and passed exams in Doctorate studies, but, in order to complete Doctorate dissertation he wanted to get an internal understanding of this World and Divine Universe. He received initiations into Sacred Techniques of Spiritual Realization of Kriya-Qui-Cung and started practicing it so hard that soon realized that his social career does not worth anything, only Divine Realization matters. That is why in age of 27 years old he left top management position in big Latvian bank and moved to live in Latvian forest devotionally practicing. This happened in year 2000 and since then he lives a life of a monk.

Later His Master brought him to Himalayas – 2005-2008 where he received initiations into techniques of Kriya-Yoga of Mahavatar Babaji, Sacred Seven Chakras Chanting Technique, 18 pearls of Badrivishal, and Astrology.

Through Devotional Spiritual practice he reached a Divine Self Realization – in Jnana – Divine Acknowledgment of Nature of Universe. Before that he acknowledged his ego in Divine Light by this becoming a Swami – a person who acknowledged his Swa – ego.

Swami Yoganada performs many ancient Sacred Sanskrit Hymns – he made a lot of recordings that are open for public use through YouKu (Chanel’s Name – Zhanoff), RuTube (Chanel’s Name – Zhanoff Sacred),  and YouTube - (Chanel’s Name – Zhanoff), through him powerful translations that transfer energy of original mantra into European language of the most known Sanskrit Mantras – GAYATI mantra, MAHAMRITYUNJAYA mantra, ASATOMA mantra and some others have come.

Author of many Spiritual poems and articles, Member of Writers’ Union of Russia, Swami Yogananda (Sergey Zhanoff) travels around the world, teaching people techniques of Kriya-Qui-Cung and Kriya-Yoga of Mahavatar Babaji, Sacred Seven Chakras Chanting Technique, 18 pearls of Badrivishal, Healing Food, Basics of Astrology and answers questions during Sat-Sangs.
