 He didn't know who they are. Could not imagine and did not try to imagine. Why? Previous bloody history of humanity has taught him nothing and nobody to believe in. All the ills of folly, he knew. And the fact that people are not able to agree among themselves.

 Once he felt that “extraterrestrials” (he so called them, because I thought that they are not from this sinful planet, and some wonderful worlds came from) are not so evil. Humanoids, as it were called in the old science fiction novels. And they know how to listen at the opinions of others.

 After this insight, his fear began to diminish. Still it was hard to listen to other people, but now he admitted the idea that they may be right, and that he himself may be wrong.

 However, he didn't want a real encounter with humanoids. Who knows, who they may be similar. Suddenly from fear he had lose the ability to think to talk?
