Labour Russia 2005

The “Labour Russia” is all-Russian social movement of working people with departments in more than a half of regions of Russian Federation. It unites more than 10.000 activists. The main body of the movement is the party “Labour Russia communists”. The “Labour Russia” has its own youth wing – the “Vanguard of Red Youth” (AKM) closely connected to party activists. Collective members of the movement are the Soviet women Congress and the Cossack community of ataman M.Filin.
The central publishing organ of the “Labour Russia” is the newspaper “Molnia” (“Lightning”) founded in November 1990 by permanent leader of the movement, the first secretary of the CC of the party “Labour Russia communists” Victor I. Anpilov.
The “Labour Russia” was created in 1991 by will of ordinary communists and non-party workers as a reply to inactivity and cowardness of party and state nomenclature which had betrayed the first state of workers and peasants in the world – the USSR. It was the “Labour Russia” who organized the defense of Mausoleum and Central Lenin Museum in Moscow in September 1991. On November, 7, 1991 in spite of Yeltsin’s decree of CPSU prohibition the “Labour Russia” led into Moscow streets more than 100.000 and conducted a demonstration with Red Banner at the Red Square of the capital. The “Labour Russia” was the first who rose the banner of organized resistance to violent capitalization, robbing workers’ deposits and people’s property, against submission of national interests to large-scale capital of the West. The largest actions of the “Labour Russia” in 1991-1992 such as All-people Veche for working people’s power, marches of hungry lines and empty pans with demands to bring Yeltsin’s gand to trial, the siege of the “lie empire” in Ostankino with demands to eliminate anti-Soviets and rusophobes from television broadcast, picketing and breakdown of joint military exercises of Russia and the USA on Totsky training ground and in Vladivostok will remain forever in people’s memory. On May, 1, 1993 the “Labour Russia” overstood honourably barricade battles against exceeding forces of the police state. In September and October 1993 the “Labour Russia” supporters were the first to arise and the last to leave the barricades at the Soviet House in Moscow. A lot of our comrades have fallen victims of Yeltsin’s armed executioners. So the permanent demand of the “Labour Russia” is bringing the dictator who deserves the most severe punishment to working people’s trial.
The program aim of the “Labour Russia” is restoration of all economic and political power of working people in the Soviet form. We are convinced that the Soviet system would win in the period of peaceful communism building if the power belonged to workers, peasants, soldiers and representatives of working intelligence. And now, within bourgeois state system, the :Labour Russia” insists on obligatory quota for working people, including soldiers and students, in all representative organs of power, including the State Duma. The presidential form of ruling alien to Russian working people’s desires should be eliminated.
In the field of national problems the “Labour Russia” is led by J.V.Stalin’s statement that “workers’ question is superior to national” for Bolsheviks and offers to return immediately the property taken away under privatisation slogan to the people as the first step to achievement of peace and mutual understanding in the society. All socialism gains should be restored on this background: the right of labour and its worthy payment, of free education and medicine, of garanteed habitation receipt. The “Labour Russia” comes out for restoration of purchasing power of pensions, salaries and student grants at the Soviet level. We demand salary of 100 roubles per hour for each Russian worker, pensions and student grants of 3000 roubles per month and not a copeck less!
The “Labour Russia” does not recognize the liquidation of the USSR and comes out for restoration of the workers’ and peasants’ state within the borders determined by victor powers at the Potsdam conference in 1945. These borders are gained by the blood of the Soviet soldier and each inch of land is ours. Having respect for the right of each nation of self-determination at the current moment the “Labour Russia” considers superior the right of Soviet peoples of reunion into a unite state. The “Labour Russia” comes out for restoration of the workers’ and peasants’ state – the USSR.
Our slogan is: “LABOUR WILL BE THE RULER OF THE WORLD”.
