Creep

It was such a usual morning when every person who studies at university wakes up early and hurries up because it is only several minutes left before the departure of a train going to the city. He opened his eyes just when he heard an alarm which had probably rung two or three times before. He switched off his mobile phone and then he was lying under a warm blanket watching the rest of his dreams or staring at the ceiling. He didn’t think about someone who was waiting him at the station. That’s why he didn’t pay a lot of attention to his account in a social network or his e-mail. After he had a conservative breakfast he rushed out to the station.

It was a long-passing train because it had to wait for another, the faster one. At the next station a lot of people came into the car, besides, she was among them. He had got a habit of watching at everyone who enters a room or a car. This time he also noticed her searching for a place to leave her bag and to sit down. He was reading a novel about a love story, however he hadn’t ever thought about picking up and, forwardly, making relationship with anyone. But it was a really charming meeting.

She wore a hoody and sunglasses, her hair was set in a ponytail, and earphones’ wires were hanging near her neck. She didn’t stand out or behave in a strange way until she removed her hoody and unleashed her hair. He suddenly saw her face when she was shyly and sadly looking in the sky through a window. Some minutes later their sights met each other. He wasn’t just surprised, he was shocked. Certainly, he recognized her, maybe because he had already seen her in the streets of their small town. For a moment he has forgotten his entire life stopped and even arrested by her blue widely-opened eyes. These long eyelashes, this simple but wonderful eyeshadow… It was gorgeous! Although all these emotions were burning out in his soul, he got immediately confused and embarrassed. Determined by this reason which, in fact, hadn’t got any outward expression he hid his sight under a piece of his black cap.

He couldn’t read more. All the way to the city he was seeking her look, he was trying to explain himself why he had been attracted by her eyes. Finally, he understood that she reminded him one actress who he considered to be very pretty. He believed he had already found the face of this actress before. She might be his ghost, she might be his wraith. But he ended up thinking she was a dream, just a real dream. Why has he to go to the city? Why can’t he come closer and ask her name? Why oughtn’t he to wish he had a night spent together? It will take him an eternity to answer these questions. However, now he was sitting opposite to her in dead silence. He wasn’t a brave one to do anything. A creep whom Mr. Yorke sang about. A feeble creep.

He missed his opportunity to build a happy life when he lost her shape among other passengers. It happened after one hour of observing her lonely and lovely face. Truly, he has been confessing and regretting for a long time saving the hope and the desire to catch that train once more time in purpose to meet this mysterious girl again. But he won’t indeed.
