What gave Jesus the strength to go to Calvary?
His faith in the God of the Universe.
At the Last Supper he says: "I am going to the Father."
The Father is the soul and the reason of creation.
Even at the Last Supper, breaking bread and pouring wine, he notices: 'The bread which I give is my flesh, the drink which I give is my blood'.
This is also a reference to the Father, for flesh and blood are synonymous with Mendeleyev's table, an indication that man and the universe are inseparably united and correlate as part and whole, consisting of the same elements.
There is no division into materialism and idealism, here every thing is akin to my body and my soul, and all the things of the world and I are governed by one mind of the universe.
This is pantheism, on the basis of which Jesus told us: "The Kingdom of God is within you."
That is:come to grasp the idea that the creation, its mind and you are one, put this knowledge in the center of your inner world and you will gain the sense of being that will save you
From Lao Tzu to Buddha, from Pythagoras to Plato, from Isaiah to Christ, all the great thinkers and prophets of Axial Time, laying down the ethical foundations of mankind, relied on this pantheism, in which trust in nature was inseparable from the belief that it was endowed with reason that coincided with the mind of God.
It was the deepest perception  of the people in those ages, which enabled a person to make a breakthrough in evolution - the axis of moral values that has sustained us to this day has risen up above humanity.
But today it is shaken as our crred therein.
The social forms, in which the higher values had been clad for two thousand years, and which we call churches, have decayed
Our consciousness has already outgrown these archaic ways of initiation to the higher reality, and the globe suffocates in the petrified traditional ritual garb of the spirit, which no longer humanizes us, but increasingly becomes the source of mutual discord, hatred and aggression, which is vividly demonstrated by the expanding religious fundamentalism.
At the same time, peoples and states find themselves in a situation of dissociated identity: one part of their mind understands that "terrorism" has to be fought, while the other part tells them that by destroying religious and cultural fanaticism as a poisonous emanation of the decaying planetary clericalism, they involuntarily undermine their cultural and religious identity, for apart from this dilapidated traditional cover, thrown over the selfish grin of "national interests", they have nothing
And no matter how much they would like looking back at the history, continue to drift along the slow waters of traditions, drawing from them examples of heroism and grandeur that feed their national and political pride, but on a planet that has now become small and close, necessarily/inevitably turning us into a single family of earthlings, they will have to learn mutual humility and tolerance, which is not compatible with the state and religious boundaries rejected by the future God of a free human individuality.
The most sensitive of us already hear His light step and know that He must help us to come and manifest himself faster, as did the prophets of all times for all the gods.
But the modern prophet has nothing to rely on, except for himself.
