An old moon

It was on my way to the daughter`s house.

I went out of my house and saw the crowd of people near the neighbored one. There were many military officers, so I realized, it was funeral. It was clear whose. These days only talks about the big numbers of killed officers in Chechnya were heard. How many zink coffins were brought from the war? The military enlistment office says «..nine». The local TV broadcasts about twelve victims. But everybody knows that they are much more.

I didn`t even reach the daughter`s house and saw the military crowd again. Funeral in processing. Two coffins in the same day. Orchestra was heard. I was not mistaken.
 
We used to the new things. Despite the death we can throw a wedding! Everything changed. But there was the time, everybody in our small town knew, that the grief didn’t leave the place for joy. Aggression, terrorism, cold and hunger - nothing can destroy the desperate Russians.

Recently I read a newspaper. It was a good article of a good author. The life is not a life as we know it, it`s just a vegetation life now. I was almost persuaded. Criminal and aggression, diseases are stronger, the grow of living things slows down. What else may happen during an old moon!

If we really go with the stream, with this flow, so I`m scared. I`m scared even to imagine the picture of future in such «marshes». But it could happen. The 2000 saw our waiting of- and laughing at the End of the Days. But today its different. What can we match to it? What?..
A life!

We can do it, because Russia still has a potential!  Working people, true people, who build for us the real values, who form the basis of life. The life laws are in their blood.  Nothing can break their spirit.
 
And nothing is terrible in modern times, because there is nothing to be afraid of after all we saw, after everything we experienced. We are not afraid; we just worry about the weak people. But our weakness is our close people, and we are ready to lose everything but save them, and help the justice to prevail.
 
So, the person can`t realize his very short life as good or bad. But I manage to overthink the currents.  Turning back in times.. My grandfather was lost somewhere near Rzhev, the other, as I heard, fell black-shirts prisoner. My father, mother and uncle fought for the country. But today the Black-shirts are not so black. They are expurgated. The savers of Russia! But our liberators are fractiously judged. So where is the justice?

I`m living in this world for more than 50 years, and my experience gives me a right to say that the world needs peace. The country will show itself. But today it leaves the lives of daughter`s and sons in Chechnya. For what? Is it necessary? Unfortunately, it is. But the whole world will now then, Russia will never give even the flake of it`s territory.
