С шестом берётся высота!
В три роста человеческих – она...
Это грандиозная работа над собой,
В союзе с волей, удачей и судьбой...
Рекорд француза не побит,
И нынче он – не фаворит...
Кто третьим был, стал первым,
Проявив себя атлетике верным ...
За век рекорды усложнились,
В начале века даже и не снилось,
Что те четыре метра будут ерундой,
Все шесть – доступной высотой!
Бежит атлет, налаживая шест...
Респект-поддержка ему с мест!
Весь стадион, и у телеэкранов,
Превратившись в атлетоманов,
Желают прыгуну рекорд побить,
К победе cвою волю не сломить!
И увенчать победою Успех –
Примером став для бренных всех...

The whole stadium, and the TV screens,
Turned into being passionate fans,
They wish him to beat the record,
And not to break their will to the victory,
To get the victory, Success -
