In the Forest

In one wonderful forest lived a little wolf. He was a good boy and his mother took care of him. His eyes shone bright like 2 little lights at night.

-What cute little boy you are, - said his mother. - Do you want to see how your eyes are shining? Come with me to the lake. They went there and the little wolf saw his rejection in the water.

- Yeah... - he said, - my eyes are really shining.

Once he walked near the forest with his mom. Suddenly he stopped and said:

- Mom! Look what a big beast, he has many eyes and they are shining!

- Oh! My little son, never be afraid of the 'animal'. Regardless of how big it is and how many eyes he has, he will never run after you, he doesn't have legs. It's a HOUSE, people live here, and the shining eyes are the windows, they are shining because there is a light in the house. In the daytime houses look different. Don't be afraid of the houses, my son. Never be afraid of those who has 4 legs. But! Be afraid of those who has 2 legs. I will show you now. Mother wolf stood up on her hind paws and went forward.

-Hahaha! - laughed the little wolf, - I can do so too!

He stood up on his hind paws and tried to go too.

Mother started laughing at him too. They were laughing for a long time and frolicking on the grass at that day.

A week later the little wolf began to run and play himself.

- Don't run away too far from home! - said his mother.

But he ran playing with flowers and butterflies. He stopped when he saw that house near the forest. There was a little animal with 4 legs playing here.

- I will play with him, I have been dreaming of having a friend for a long time, - thought the little wolf.

He approached the little animal, they got acquainted and began to play together, they had fun, tumbling and running on the 4 legs. They were different but it didn't matter.

Suddenly the little wolf saw a big animal with 2 legs, he got frightened and frozen, didn't move. The animal got closer, put a plate with milk and meat before the little wolf and went away.

The little wolf ate everything, it was very tasty. Then he ran to his hole.

- Where were you, honey? - asked his mother.

- Mommy, I played with an animal with 4 legs.

- Oh! - said mother.

And thought that she would need to look after him more attentively.

For the whole next week the little wolf ran to play with the animal, he was fed every day. His mother watched him from the distance, she saw her son wolf playing with a human child, little and running on his 4 legs. She saw the mother of that kid bring tasty food for the little wolf.

In the evening before they went to bed she said to her son:

- My son, I was mistaken, there are some kind creatures among those who has 2 legs but very seldom, so try not to approach the others, play only with the little kid, your friend. And if you see the others, run away!
