I’ve realized why I’m not satisfied by the process of writing in English. It’s, at least, one of the most important reasons. Adjectives! What does it mean? Adjectives are vital for my writing. I can’t express my thoughts clearly due to lack of adjectives. In many cases I have only one or two hues of linguistic color to describe something. Of course, when I use the same words again and again and observe poorness of my language, I lose motivation. Often, if I want to describe some situations and express a positive or negative attitude, I use only common adjectives like good or bad because others make me confused. Considering this problem, I decided to pay more attention to work with my vocabulary. First of all, I need more adjectives.

deafening – extremely
noisy jittery – v. nervous
excruciating – very painful
outstanding – v. remarkable
destitute – v. poor
heartfelt – v. sincere
prestigious – v. respected
vital – v. important
devastating – v. damaging/upsetting
narrow-minded – not open to new ideas
gorgeous – v. beautiful
well-behaved
swamped – v. busy
high-spirited – with a lot of energy
packed – v. crowded well-educated
thrilled – v. happy
absent-minded – forgetful, not thinking
horrific – v. shocking/scary
strong-will
mind-blowing – v. amazing
quick-witted – clever
miraculous – v. fortunate
king-hearted – friendly
fearless – v. brave
absurd – v. ridiculous
frivolous – v. unimportant/silly
impeccable – v. perfect
