The darkness was insupportable

The darkness was insupportable. It was crawling on you, it could devour you at any moment, and you had nowhere to go, no place to be safe, noone to be drown in. You knew that soon it would be a part of you, you would be a part of it. Dark would be your future, dark would be your soul. It seemed like you were inhaling the darkness, it was dissolving in your blood. You knew that if you closed your eyes, it would mean the surrender.. But all of a sudden you noticed a flash in the distance, what was it? After an instant, you could clearly see that the luminescent dot was moving towards you. Then there appeared another one, moving as well. Moving dots around you, it was a salvation. It was like if the stars could move around you, as if you were in the space, in that immense universe among the swinging stars. You were moving with the waves of the universe, you could hear the lullaby of the cosmos. You felt so calm and peaceful and grateful. You were lying on the ground in the dense forest with firebugs flying above you. And you knew that the Life itself was helping you to overcome your fears.
