I will think in English.
Went to the library and took new books. These were two Foucault’s books translated in Russian “История безумия» and «Рождение клиники» and few English books. I’ve begun reading two of them: “Longman English Grammar” by L.G. Alexander and “A Farewell to Arms” by Ernest Hemingway. I’ve also begun to read “Ecce Homo” by Nietzsche listening to an audio book and repeating aloud after a speaker. The latter is a short book – something about five hours.
I resolved to pay more attention to reading. Neither listening nor speaking develops my comprehension as well as reading and writing. Now I have a strong desire to read more and more. I can read 10 hours every day. Reading and gymnastic are everything I need to improve my thinking and fitness.
There are some questions for research: How to develop speed of reading? How to read better? How to improve reading comprehension? Which habits are good for reading? Etc, etc…
One of the best tools which can help with reading is undoubtedly journaling. If I write down my impressions from reading, my thoughts, feelings, an attitude towards an author and his style and so on and so forth – I will understand everything better receiving lots of benefits from it. I can already say something about LEG, for example. Unlike Murphy’s book, it is a more theoretical course, but I like to work with it anyway. Perhaps, I just like to work by lying in bed instead of sitting at the table.
