It’s time to find a new mantra for the beginning. Rereading my amazing Russian journal, I felt an enormous desire to come back and continue writing in my native language. It was so powerful! I developed such an outstanding language. Here I write chiefly about small unimportant things, but there I was able to express profound ideas and share my experience-based knowledge with such virtuosity as only the best classical writers was able to do.
So, there are two options. The first is to come back to Russian, forget about writing seriously in English, lose a ton of motivation, and become an idiot again. The second is to wait a little bit and gradually develop the same quality of writing, which I had in Russian, for a couple of years. If I tend to think about myself as a philosopher of a new generation I certainly have to go ahead.
