Went to the cinema club. Everyone is the same: the same meaningless talks, the same mindsets. Sadly, but I still have not learned to be silent. I saw that no one understood my words, but instead of being silent talked more and more. It reminds of talking to children; or even worse – talking to animals. All of them only can listen to themselves. I tried to describe how the world is shifting towards the economy of knowledge; they hear my words but can’t get the meaning. They think only about politics and who will run the country. They believe in such things as the good for everyone, the absolute evil and so on. And the most pitiful thing is they don’t learn. They don’t learn at all. Most of them even don’t understand why they should. They think that talking about films gives them clear comprehension of what’s going on in the world, and they are ready to spend six, eight, ten hours a week for that, but if you suggest them to learn –
I haven’t been coming there about four months. To stop going to the place was a right decision, and today’s case proved it again. Perhaps, it’d better to avoid such useless entertainment in the future.
