Now I’m going to use this journal to write a post for a next speaking club.
Ask yourself, “Why am I reading this?” Perhaps, your first answer will be, “I’m looking for an event to communicate with other people, improve my English, etc.” Then ask again, “Why am I looking for such things?” So, you may say, “I’m looking for it because of this, this, and that.” If you ask on and on, “Why do I need this, this, and that?” you’ll find more and more reasons. There is not only one specific reason by which you are reading this. There are many, many reasons. Well, think about English. Why do you learn it?–this, this, and that, right? If you have just one or two reasons, it’s the same as you have no reason at all. Take a pen and paper and find a hundred reasons for learning. Find you own reasons, come to X, and share them with us on next Thursday.
