Finished Peterson’s “Maps of Meaning.” Watched comments. Almost everyone respects him. I wouldn’t say that these lectures were as awesome as other people think. Peterson is just a man who’s learned to speak very well. We have thousands of amazing books which contain more profound knowledge than this man offers to us. But anyway, it’s interesting to see how far he will go, and what his lectures will look like, say, in ten years. I think his popularity will grow fast, and by 2020 he’ll have several millions followers on his YouTube channel. He really speaks so powerfully, though it’s not surprising due to over 30 years of intentional practice. However, I think it’s possible to achieve the same level much faster; probably, in 5-10 years. It means that in 10 years there will be thousands of speakers on YouTube who will talk like Peterson and even better.
