On the face of this country
An insignificant speck,
Here he came among bounty,
And he is not going back.
Little luggage, poor speech,
But so smart, he could tease you,
And his hand’s holding strong
The immigration visa.
He treats statue of liberty
Like a goddess in disguise,
And her fire is flickering
In his hoping eyes.
Time flies by, he’ll become
One of us, one of bounty.
Let him shine, sparkling spot,
On the face of this country.
