Water Droplet
Once there was a water droplet. It can be found every morning on the leaves of an apple tree, or on the grass, and sometimes it hungs on a branch of current bush. Water droplet was round like a ball and transparent as glass.
Each summer day, the sun appeared in the sky and sent her a shining ray. At this point, the droplet shimmered with all rainbow colors. Sunbeam liked to play with her a little, but she, just as it appears, each time fell in love with him, and her only cheek flushed, embarrassed, and expressing, thus, her attitude toward him.
I drop, drop,
on a beak of a stark,
on the mustache of the moth,
What’d a fool l was!
She sang it every time they met, and she imagined that he was pleased to hear her voice and think what she is smart and clever.
Whenever, after he played, and tried to disappear, she embraced him, slowly climbing the ray up, gradually evaporating. On a top, near him, there was always lived a cloud, and thousands of other sweat droplets were dissolved in it. The cloud flew over the land and where it seemed necessary showered the land with a fresh rain, and in the evening it disappeared without leaving a trace in the sky.
Obviously, the cloud turned into a mist that could be seen every morning in the
valleys and reavines, settled on trees, shrubs and grass in the forms of water droplets. Thus vent on every day all summer and even autumn, until it was cold. And at once everything was changed. The droplet was not been able avaporate - it was frozen. And even a sunbeam, which is now rare, but sometimes flashed down to the ground, could not help her. He too, was not as warm as before. Droplet knew this and did not take offense to it.
-That is all over now, but how good it was before,- she thought.
-I have not had time to admit my love to the ray.
-It would be nice, if all the time was summer, and he would come to see me every day.
-Nothing is forever on this earth,- the droplet continued to think,- nothing last forever. At this point, her thoughts were interrupted by a cow, grazing in the meadow. The cow tore a tuft a grass with the droplet, which was frozen on it,
and. . . swallowed.
All it would not be so sad if the droplet knew that everything in the world managed by nature and there is nothing there on this earth disappears, but moves from one state to another.
