We all live under one sky

We all live under one sky, but each person sees different horizons.
— Conrad Adenauer

Each of us has a different horizon ahead of us. I think that some see achievable dreams, while some see broken hopes. After all, we are all so different and we see the world from many different perspectives.
Personal feelings and opinions greatly affect perception of even the most obvious facts. Therefore, different people see and hear the same things in different ways.
Bees see flowers as an essential part of the pollination process. Flies see flowers as dirty places only used as trash cans.
Someone sees the surrounding nature through rose-colored glasses. Therefore, they have a wonderful horizon.

I think that the attitude towards people of foreign nationalities and religions depends on one’s family and living situations. In this time, politics also strongly influences people’s outlooks—some people even hate one of their own parents if they were born in a country that they do not tolerate.
For me, this is the same as hating one of the ten fingers of one’s own hand. This person hates part of himself, because he received genes from his father or mother, regardless of whether he wanted to or not.
Everyone should judge on their own whom to love and whom to hate! Even if your father is Russian and your mother is Ukrainian? Yes, we have one sky. But our horizons are different!
