           «Why do they always lie to us?»

       The truth is a precious commodity, yet it seems to be in short supply. We are told lies by those in positions of power, whether they be historians distorting the facts or politicians manipulating the truth to suit their own ends. The so-called  «fixers» and  «reformers» are often the ones who end up causing the most harm, with their misguided attempts to correct the perceived wrongs of society.
       We are living in an age of deception, where honesty and integrity have become rare virtues. The liars and deceivers are shameless in their duplicity, never hesitating to twist the truth to their advantage. Even their consciences seem to be dormant, as if they have been dulled by their own lies.
       It is a sad truth that we are constantly being fed falsehoods, with no end in sight. We are left to wonder, why do they always lie to us? It seems that the answer is as elusive as the truth itself, and we are left to navigate a world where truth and lies are hopelessly intertwined, like a thorny vine choking the life out of a rose.
