Juliette and romeo librette

Sarcastic view on death if Juliette and Romeo..
(Being polite, we have to put female’s name first.

ACT 1 and 2

First two acts citizens of the town, dressed in a bright colors (I must admit that artist did good job with design of costumes for this production), have fun dancing, hugging, kissing each other and fighting, using sables, swards, knifes, killing each other as a form of fun and an entertainment. It was pleasant to see that no one was upset and no one cried about life’s lost.

It was not television at that time, about 5-600 years ago, so they have to compensate the absences for stimulation of their emotions and brains and get adrenaline running.

Practically first and second acts are here to get more money for bigger production. During two acts plot was not moving forward.

Audience still do not know that they are watching a famous story about Romeo and a Juliette.
Let’s create create an exposition for a famous couple:
Romeo was born in pretty poor family. He was a smart and emotional fellow, falling in love with almost all pretty girl not only in his class but with any good looking girl in his neighborhood.

Because he was a bad student, he realized that getting good job will be pretty tough, he dreamed to create his own company to clean chimneys and a water pipes in local houses and to take care of trash in his city. He was tired to see dirt in his family house and badly wanted to get out of it.
He fell in love with Juliette not only because she was good looking girl but also she belonged to a higher society. Her parents were filthy rich people, their house was big, clean with expensive furniture, many servants were taking care of many aspects of jobs and Romeo became obsessed with thoughts about a future with Juliette.
Juliette liked Romeo for his bad behavior. She felt that she is winning her position before other girls. He ignited her wish to be close to someone who is not afraid to go further with kisses, hugs and touches.

Juliette, about 13 - 14 years old has a secret date with Romeo on her balcony. He is also pretty young. We can assume he is under age when youth can buy an alcohol.

After the passionate kiss on a dark balcony of Juliette’s apartment, Romeo has to go home. Tomorrow he has to get up early and to go to school which he really doesn’t want to do.

Juliette parents in the mean time, being afraid that their dear doter will make wrong choice and sleep around with wrong men, invited a rich relative as a candidate for a partnership for Juliette. But Juliette doesn’t like him and rejects him.

As we all know that parents are more experienced than their children and they know how hard life can be when you fell in love to a romantic poor guy.

They insist that Juliette will married rich guy, but Juliette became hysterical and terribly depressed. She already was in love with Romeo, slept with him and wanted to continue her secret affair. She, as we understand, thought that youth is forever, not realizing that time will come, she will have children, become fat, taking care of them, possibly will divorce Romeo and will be lonely and miserable. He willl be an alcoholic, demanding ugly man, will sleep with other women, and life with him will be pretty miserable.

But now she doesn’t know what to do.

Act 3 (and last one because it is getting pretty late and metro is closing soon.

At that time Universities did not have psychology departments and shrinks, so only priests in churches could help depressed and frustrated people, so Juliette runs to a local church for help.
Prist,  naturally, is praying all the time because he has nothing ells to do in his lonely life.
Here, beautiful, young Juliette is coming all in tears, looking for help, for wisdom and advise.
Prist immediately got aroused, started to touch her, put his hands around her, started hugging her, but soon realized that he can be badly punished by a court system and must survive hard working jobs for a bad behavior.
Juliette, is a smart girl, realized that priest himself is pretty confused and quickly retreated back home.

Parents are stubborn people and always think they are right. Juliette, decided to end her life and to punish parents.

In a mean time parents noticed that Juliette grew up, became a grown girl and often spends time in front of mirror in her room, putting make up, painting her lips, trying to attract attention of boys. They were afraid that she will be pregnant with a wrong man and they have to take care of children of a divorce mother who has no husband and no money.
They made several attempts to bring one of rich relatives together with Juliette but she felt trapped and became so depressed that decided to end her life to show parents her real situation.
She had no other choice as to take sleeping pills in order to escape from a pressure of her stupid and dominating parents and to end her painful depression.

The amount of pills, obviously, was so big, that she went in to a coma and slept deadly long time.
Parents, being stupid, did not call a doctor (at that time phones were not invented), but realizing that their doter is dead, they ordered coffin, called relatives, spent huge amount of money and brought a coffin to a memorial to barry her next day.
Romeo found out that Juliette died, rushed to find her. He could not believed that she will live this world without talking to him. He was absolutely shocked.
Finally he found her. She was so beautiful in her white dress, looking peaceful and cum, so he could not resist his earge to kiss her.
She did not responded. He could not stop kissing her, still hoping to revive her.
We can understand his feelings. Sudden loss of Juliette made him crazy.
To his luck he found a knife that stage manager left after supervising building of a decorations.

Romeo grabbed it before curtains will be closed and quickly stick it in his heart. Naturally he forgot to take off his white short and artificial blood was running down from a coven Lon the top of wooden steps painted in a color of marble. Here it was pretty difficult part of an acting. He must fell backwards on steps of a pedestal,  it he was rehearsing this fall many times and this evening he did his best. Finally it was not painful. He even thought to go back to a Juliette coven and repeat it, but he could wake her up too early.

The noise of a fall of Romeo’s body interrupted Juliette’s long sleep, but she felt at first very relaxed.
Suddenly, she realized that her lover Romeo is dead.
She pulled her “smart phone” her parents purchased to her few days ago and looked at the time. She realized that it is the end of third act and audience may be tired, late to go home because  metro is closing at 11pm (23,00). There is no, really time for making her own decision. It is time only for another suiside.
To her luck the knife was not far at all. She quickly grabbed it and kill herself, not even wiping if before. The stage manager forgot to install a kfountain there, not far from her coffin.

We understand, wiping knife takes time but if everyone will be late, taxi now is pretty costly.
After short uploads Theater was empty.
This evening taxi drivers made good money. They love this performance!
