I’ve almost finished listening to A.J. Hoge’s analysis of Orwell’s “Animal Farm.” Perhaps, it’s not as interesting as lectures by Sapolsky are, or the discussion about the so-called free will which took place at the speaking club was, but I still wanna consider it first. Maybe, I just don’t wanna talk about things mentioned above, and, at last, to start talking about something I turn to the matter. So the “Animal Farm” is the caricature of Soviet Union, and Orwell, as Hoge often repeats, wants to warn us about the “evil” which inevitably has to happen if “pigs” take over “control.” This Hoge seems very obsessed by the situation which is going on in the world. He bitterly disappointed that in UK “pigs” already in charge, in US they have only 50/50, and in Venezuela—well, in Venezuela everything—
After the speaking club I noticed that my cognitive abilities unpleasantly weakened. I have no desire to think and write.
