A Classical school of Dramaturgy, a theater critic

A Classical school of Dramaturgy, a theater criticism and a creative market. Essay

The next portion of news spilled out. First about a cinema sphere. Then - about the theater.

We see people - theater and film figures. People are not bad. They say some positive things.

Of course, Moscow is a city of visitors. That is, the city of those persons who came on a business trip, who came as a tourists.

During the day time, those persons are busy with their affairs. An evening time needs to be structured.

Plus, the vast majority of people have a need for communication. Young pretty participants in the theatrical process are. Moreover, - they are on a financial hook (in some financial-budgetary dependence). The “elite layer” feels a comfort ... It’s good to live in this pleasant world ... The natural need for communication and a laws on harassment and the other novelties of our prominent lawmakers do not disappear, but some topics become not so a worry ...

Do not forget those who consider themselves fascinated theater-goers ...

All this is very nice ...

But there is a belief. The belief in the existence of times when theaters lived on the money received from the sale of tickets to the general public.

Were there such times ?!

Probably they existed.

Where did the audience come from? Who went to theaters, paid money for tickets? A money were using to pay for the rental of theater facilities, salaries for actors and royalties to authors of plays?

The public believed that she would see something worthwhile. She believed in the classical author's school of dramaturgy (in the broad sense; it is not only about dramas; this refers to a creating of a plays of all kinds).

How was she brought up, this audience? Did she come from somewhere?

Between the classical author's school of dramaturgy and theatre visitors there were theater critics - those who analyzed and synthesized ... The creative product of critics was in newspapers ... The public read. A  public opinion was.

How strange! Theaters and newspapers were funded from the pockets of the public ....  And a creative market existed...

Maxim Gorky, they say, became a rich man, after his play "The Lower Depths" ('At the bottom') went through the theaters around the world ... Someone (Parvus?), it seems, took advantage of Gorky's trust .... But these questions are not to a creative market ....

And along with the creative market there was the classical author's school of dramaturgy, a self-sustaining theaters, an audience ready to go to the theater and buy tickets ...

Now a different era. There is no creative market. It seems that there are no self-sustaining theaters, (almost) no independent self-sustaining independent newspapers, there are no authors capable of becoming rich in royalties ...

Some good people show their activity ... They are connected with theatrical (and cinema) creativity. They have any good ideas ... Something - like the movement of Brownian particles from a school course in physics ...

But the key to the situation is similar to an enema.

You need to be at the right time in the right place. To press on the enema and to squeeze a portion of budget money.

After that, you can live and do something good ... or something bad ...

What is the level of culture in the country? You can draw conclusions about this by getting acquainted with the news ...

I give an idea for a documentary theater - to create a production “The budget enema”.

I don’t ask a contre-marque or a free ticket ...

If I become the boss, then maybe I will get acquainted with someone ... There are convenient conditions ...
