Story Editor. Episode 6 Script

The man nearly became mad while he was yelling down the phone for about half an hour trying to explain his position and convince the other person on the other end of the line.
“No way!” he shouted angrily and finally hang up.
He felt a coldness when his sweaty forehead touched the windowpane.

Here from the top of the skyscraper where he had worked for many years, he looked down on to the streets below. It was so normal to be able to watch how these small cars were moving from one side of the street to the other and how such tiny people right down there were rushing around somewhere.

The phone rang breaking the silence in the office, but the man didn’t move, trying instead to pretend as much as possible that he wasn’t there at all. When the phone stopped ringing, the man quickly turned round and kicked the chair near him. With a huge noise, it fell to the floor, and then there was nothing but the silence once more. He didn’t do anything for a moment, other than just stare at the empty workplaces of his colleagues before stuffing his script in his bag, and taking a deep breath.
