Mr. C

While Mr. C’s neighbours were trying not to be late for their jobs this sunny morning, Mr. C was having a pleasant sleep in his fluffy bed, until the telephone rang, disturbing his sleepy morning. Usually he sleeps soundly, but not today, so this phone call immediately woke him up.
“Oh, no! C’mon, people, let me sleep!” he thought, slowly stretching his body across the bed. He closed his eyes desperately trying to pretend to be asleep, but then sadly came to the realization that this didn’t help much. As the phone continued to ring, Mr. C started to get angrier.

Finally, when he pushed his body out of the bed, the phone stopped ringing.
“No doubt at all that today is going to be a lovely day!” he muttered to himself in annoyance, and after several seconds of thinking, he moved to the balcony. The weather greeted him with the sun shining brightly and with no clouds in the sky.

Several birds were flying way up high in the faraway blue sky, twirling beautifully. He was watching them as always, when he unexpectedly smelt something tasty and twitched his whiskers.
“That can only mean one thing,” he thought, as he made his way towards the kitchen.
“Here, kitty, kitty!” he heard as he entered the kitchen.
