The Code of Exodus. Etude 2

The Code of Exodus. Etude 2.

If you woke up in New York hotel in a room on the 3rd floor, looked out the window on the street  and saw mountains of horse feces on level with your windows, then you are in the 1930 year of alternative history of humanity, because, in fact, the deliverance of cities from the bad-smelling future came at the end of the 19th century, when cable and electric trams were launched in cities, and cars appeared in the 20th century.

It was thanks to technological progress that one of the biggest problems faced by our ancestors in the cities of the 19th century was successfully solved.

Think about it: horses were used in the transport of people and goods, in the army and police, and were also a measure and symbol of wealth, prestige and power of their owners.

In the 19th century, new York city's population density increased by 2 times from 40 000 people to 80 000 people on square area of 2.5 km. and every day, each of the 200 000 horses in new York at the end of the 19th century filled the city with feces and urine.

The forecast, based on a simple extrapolation of that reality, predicted that in 1930 the level of manure mass would reach the height of three-story buildings.

It is not surprising that the delegates of one of the first International conferences on urban planning, after several days of emotional but fruitless disputes, themselves got bogged down in the "dung problem" and left in horse-drawn carts to their homes and hotels, convinced of the inevitable onset of a "shitty future".

Then they could not have thought that horses that have served people faithfully for thousands of years can be replaced not by other animals created by God and Nature, but by the creations of the human mind.

People who think within the framework of the old worldview often cannot find an innovative radical solution to the problem and those people replace it with palliative solutions.

It is easier to continue searching for a lost "key" in the circle of light of a street lamp, although it is already obvious that it is not there, than to step into the darkness and increase the search circle and the chances of success...

In 19th centuary the governments could decide, for example, less riding and less giving food and water to horses to reduce the amount of manure and urine.
Then the common sense of our ancestors saved them from simple but meaningless decisions.
And soon (thanks to creative people, trailblazers who passed over the boundaries of outdated paradigm of development) an innovative radical solution was found: cars and trams.
In 1912 the number of cars on the streets of New York exceeded the number of horses. In the 20th century, horses were no longer widely used in everyday life. Creative and active people put scientific and technological progress at the service of people and cleaned Augean stables in cities at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Maybe "The Great Horse Manure Crisis" of 1894 (GHMC) is an internet myth.
As for the Crisis, manure was a real problem, but palliative actions of governments could help. As stated some authors, for example, New York City hired George E. Waring Jr in 1895 to clean up the streets, which he largely accomplished by 1896.

In the 21st century the World faced with "The Great Human Pollution Crisis": this is not an myth.

We need to understand that the wrong actions of mankind within the current paradigm of development and outdated Worldview have led to pollution, i.e. to distortion of the existential foundations of the vital activity of global civilization on the planet Earth.

Recently the new global problems were at the top of the WEF 2020 agenda. The global problems, such as Climate Change, Social Apartheid, etc. will be discussed on the eve of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly and at other important forums and summits.
Unfortunately, the author of this essay has never been in Davos and, highly likely, will not be at the 75th session of the GA UN in New York...
But I hope that my advice will be heard, and not remain "the voice of a crying in the sea of fake news".

I am sure that world leaders and ordinary people should hear the care for the future of the world and humanity, clearly expressed by Greta Thunberg and the new generations, without ignoring the opinions of others, including senior generations, especially creative, wise, competent, influential and responsible people.

Innovative cardinals solutions to the main problems of our time must first be sought beyond the current worldview and outdated development paradigm i.e. "not in the World, as we know it, but in the World we want". We needn't deny palliative solutions, such as eating less, flying less, walking and cycling more, etc., but we must not be limited by palliative measures.

We must not make primitive conclusions and we must not make hasty and radical decisions based on a simple extrapolation of current data and trends, as do neo-Malthusians, neo-luddites, etc., but we have to look for inclusive and innovative solutions that could drastically change negative trends, transfiguring our reality into a better future, "leaving no one behind".

For me and, I am sure, for most of my contemporaries around the world, the current trend of permanent deterioration of the life standards of new generations is unacceptable.

My concept of "All-inclusive society and economy" and the innovative business model of Global or National People's corporations, or super-co-operatives, in which every citizen owns an equal share and receives dividends in the form of "human Income", are aimed at breaking this negative trend.

Only joint our efforts can we change the world for the better.
Otherwise, we risk being up to our ears in shit one day.

Personally, I do not want this very much and will do everything that possibly to find a way out of the delusion of hopelessness. Join us, let's go together...
