Chapter six. Return home

It was already getting dark, the taiga twilight invisibly descended around, animals and birds awoke and a familiar owl started his favorite song, and somewhere in the distance among the fir trees that spread their crowns to the sky, his relatives answered. The company walked slowly, discussing their recent adventures.
"You should have known how scared I was!"- uncle Ignat, - when the dead man's trees were torn apart! My heart sank with horror! Well I think after the dead man and get to us! And then you also came to us, if my fingers didn't cramp - I probably would have fallen from the tree myself!
"Well, I didn't mean to frighten you at all...if I turned into a Goblin, you wouldn't be so scared, so I asked you to help.
- Uncle Ignat, and show me how you turn into a Goblin.
-Still will time of course will show, but not now - enough with you shocks on today, I OK not want to you turned gray, me you told to intact and unharmed in school deliver.
"And here we are at home," said Kolya, and indeed they were approaching the hut, which glowed with the gold of the Windows, their rays cutting through the night.
- Kol, I honestly thought that you have a hut on chicken legs or something like that!..., - said Ira, and Sasha nodded, - Yes, well, or at least some stupa in the yard...
-No, well, my mother is a dark wizard, but we do not have a stupa, although there are several brooms in the barn that you can fly on.
-True,-the Ira admiration knew no bounds .
"Can anyone fly, or is it just your mother?"
- Any, but you need to learn a little...
- Oops, I it comes so wanted, - told Irina, dreamily raising eyes to starry the sky, - imagine a witch Irina!- and one of them laughed her merry, ringing laugh, imitating how she proudly flies on a broom.
They came to the house and Maria opened the door, beautifully dressed as always, with long hair to the waist and a radiant smile. My father told us to cook dinner for everyone an hour ago.
"How did he know what time we'd be there?" Ira asked.
"He is a high shaman of the IR, and he knows a great deal!"
- Wow! Does he know my name?!
And the name, and about the undead and about the feast in the village-all have already told me.
"I wish I had his powers," the girl said.
"Every wizard has their own talents, and in a couple of decades you'll probably be able to do something that others will envy you."
- Really?Irka chattered happily.
"Of course, honey," Maria said .
-Well, that we are all frozen in the doorway, it's time for dinner, come quickly to the table.
Everyone was happy to move to the kitchen where the stove was burning, more like a fireplace, and in the middle of the table was already set, on which there was everything that could only be desired.
The hungry travelers eagerly devoured the food.
After a while, the head of the family came down, greeted the guests joyfully, and sat down in his favorite chair.
After him, the rest of the family - Kolya's brother and sister-came down.
With the appearance of sister Vasilisa, Sasha, until then not very verbose, as if speechless, blushed and without looking away began to examine the girl, who was older than him by a year.
"I recognize that look," my father said with a smile... " when we met, I looked at you like that, Maria, do you remember?"
- Of course, all the dress I then poured sauce, so tried to take care of-Kolya's mother smiled.
Vasilisa, helping herself to a plate of food, also looked at Sasha with interest.
"In General, what I want to say," Ignat began.
"You are staying here until September, and from here I will take you all to school and put you under supervision.
"Hooray!" the children shouted.
They were very happy to have a rest before going to school in a new company.
After eating, Ignat said goodbye to everyone, borrowed a potion from the owner to improve memory and went about his business.
The children wanted to stay in the same room - so they did not want to part.
Maria conjured them two beds - which greatly impressed the newly arrived wizards and left them alone.
The three of them lay back in their beds and discussed the day's events.
"If you liked the girl we saw in the Witch's alley?" Ira asked, impatient to know everything.
"Yes, she's beautiful," Kolya agreed.
-I think we will meet her at school, because she also bought textbooks...
"I hope so," said Kolya.
Gradually, the conversations began to subside and the children fell asleep.
Days flew by, each day brought a lot of interesting things, the children had fun watching the life of the family of wizards, and Sasha still did not take his eyes off Vasilisa.
"We'll have them married by September!" Irka whispered in Kolya's ear and laughed conspiratorially.
The last August leaf of the calendar flew off the wall, things were collected and all the children in the house were going to go to school tomorrow.
