Master English Faster - part 2

1.  Our goals dictate what we need to learn, and “Once we stop learning, we start dying.” - said Albert Einstein.
Learn to enjoy the process of improving your English.

2.  When we learn English like a native speaker, we speak like native speakers.
English is mastered by re-programming our minds.
We have to ‘train our ears’ to decode English sounds.
Gradually saturate your mind with English like a sponge.
Watch short Videos in English on the topics that interest you.
This is a powerful way to broaden our vocabulary, improve our listening comprehension and develop natural pronunciation.
You will feel that you are learning the right way, and you will gradually get yourself an English-speaking brain.

3.  Develop a passion for improving your English; this is essential.
Develop a habit of working on improving your English.
It is more productive to study 15 minutes every day, than to study the whole day and then do nothing for a month.
Little steps take us a long way over time. Take a small step every day. and after a while your business partners will be impressed with your good English. Don’t be afraid of moving slowly, but be afraid of standing still.

4.  Recognize, that English speaking skill is a physiological skill rather than knowledge.
We have to get used to the sound of our own voice to build up our confidence.
We have to keep training our speaking skills so they are triggered automatically when needed.
Read your favorite story in English aloud for 15 minutes 3 times a week.
This is healthy for our brain and your speaking skills will be improving.

5.  Here is a fun and powerful learning technique.
Write a short story in mixture of English and Russian.
Type it on the computer leaving enough space for amendments and print it out.
Then translate the sentences that you initially wrote in Russian into English.
Proofread and polish your story. Read your story aloud.
Practice telling this story aloud a couple of times, then you will perform it naturally.
Try to imitate your favorite English-speaking actor or actress.
Exaggerate your English accent, so you will sound more natural to native speakers.
Then tell the story to your friends to build up your confidence.
Thus everyone will learn something useful and your improved English speaking skills will boost your confidence.

As a result:
Your pronunciation will improve.
Your vocabulary will become broader.
Your thinking processes will improve.
Your confidence will go up and your self-esteem will improve.
