Walking Along the Sea

 ___
I'm just going barefoot.
On the wet grainy sand.
Along the sea.
There's dry grass, salt marsh
and sun on the left.
There's water and foam on the right.
As well as fish, dolphins, seagulls.
Far ahead is a cape and my house.
No traces behind.
Waves and wind erase them.

Somewhere there are distant cities, bridges, overpasses, people.
Airports, airplanes, rocket launchers,
horses, steppes, yurts.
Mountains, glaciers, fogs.
Our world is so huge.
Human beings are like insects in it.

Who told us about the greatness of man-kings-of-nature?
Who made us not to love this life,
ripe, like a melon,
this wonderful life,
elastic, fluttering, like a ball?
Who persuaded us to forget
that the heart is so young,
no matter how old you are?

Just skip it!
Walk barefoot in the meadows, in the fields, along the sea.
What a sweet moment is
when the fragrant air stirs the bellows
and makes us sing!

 Four sacred sounds -
a mantra in which there is no beginning.
