MINT museum of toys Singapore - a distance report
This is how I'm about to start a new story concerning kids and their lucky, sunny days. Welcome to MINT museum of toys in Singapore!
This is one of the most favourable and children-friendly areas in the world!
Like in Disney movies, you may come across all sorts of vintage toys for children who wish their sensitive years to become brighter than the sun!
How do you find this place?
As usual, if you can afford it, you can go by plane.
If you cannot or if you are currently busy, you can visit the museum's official website/Youtube channel for further details.
This place is playful, diverse, friendly to chldren and their thoughtful, caring parents. You can see it's a rare type of a museum in terms of architecture - it is a place with no windows.
You literally bump into a place where your past, your childhood and the childhood of people of the 19th and 20th centuries are mixed up together.
MINT stands for Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys, and the museum's capacity is over 50 000 unique vintage toys from various countries, as well as other objects that are associated with childhood and fun - such as children's
game cards.
You are allowed to take pictures, ask questions, follow your own routine of museum attendance or pay for tour guide services.
In any case, this place has a special spirit to it - nostalgia mingling with hope and curiosity, joy and pride at once.
The museum is relatively new - it was open officially in 2007. This means it is an interactive place you definitely need to visit if you have a chance.
