How great to be the monster

Not far away from a river, in the willow;s branches lived a fairy.

She had wonderful azure wings and she could fly highly-highly.
She had beautiful legs and arms – she could dance airily-airily.
She had a magical voice – soft like sunlight and sonant like a bell.
Nevertheless, the most awesome was her heart. A clear and innocent heart had a blooming edelweiss flower.

When the fairy was flying over the magical meadow, she heard fun music. The fairy had flown after the melody;s sound and noticed an itinerant musician. He played the accordion in the middle of the market square in the town of M.
The young fairy started to sing quietly and dance near the musician. However, he didn;t like it at all. He thought, she;d take his money, so he had thrown a stone at her.

-Ouch! – cried she and the townspeople turned around and saw her. She was completely different from them.
-We do not like you wings! – shouted townsfolk and started to throw stones at her, too. Her wings were broken down.
-What the awful legs! – screamed merchants and broke down fairy;s legs.
-What the horrible voice! – repeated young girls, who were walking through – and also dropped some stones.

The fairy was crying because of pain, but people didn;t stop. The stones flew and flew. They broke her legs and arms, and legs, and voice. A little child, who hold its; mum;s hand, threw the last stone. That small stone destroyed the young fairy;s heart into the pieces.

Even that hadn;t stopped the people. They were throwing and throwing stones, until a huge grave has grown up over her and pushed her down to land.
Then the fairy picked up stones and made a carapace instead of wings on her back. She created the rock pillars as a replacement for her legs and hammers in the place of arms. Even her small heart was replaced with a tiny stone.
-Ugh! – she began to ruin everything all around. She demolished houses, shops, bridges and churches. Her hammers injured and murdered folk.

The townspeople were extremely scared and begged for mercy. However, is the heart of flint able to forgive anyone?
The townsfolk were crying out loud until the fairy killed all of them. The bloody red sea appeared of those dead people and stone pebbles – instead of the town.
The tired fairy laid down on pebble next to the sea, looked at the sun and thought: “How great to be the monster!”
