On August 15, 2021, the whole family visited the Pushkin Nature Reserve, or
rather Trigorskoye and Mikhailovsky.
Enjoy the beauty of Svyatogorsk-Pushkinskie Gory:
museums-estates, parks with their lanes and with a variety of trees,
bends of the river Sorot, the expanse of lake Kucan,
slides, FORTS in old Savkina...
Let me remind you that the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin
visited these places - "Dubrova's desert, on the banks still silent waters..."
seven times, they inspired the writing of many creations.

Let's move smoothly to the main topic of our essay.
In front of the manor house in Mikhailovsky there is a turf circle
with lime trees planted along its borders.
In the center of the circle reigns a spreading elm tree,
planted by the poet's son Grigory Alexandrovich Pushkin in 1866.
Today, the giant elm has turned 155 years old!

In the lower part of the trunk of the elm, over time, a recess has formed,
which resembles the shape of an eye.
It seems that the eye from the elm tree is watching the estate,
all the pilgrims-tourists who decided to visit the
holy, Pushkin places - places of Russian Strength and Spirit!

Thus, the art of nature (the art of nature) appeared in Pushkinogorye,
in its variety - the art of trees (the art of trees),
and an interesting, unique, natural art object appeared.

And we came up with two names for an old elm tree in Mikhailovsky,
which has become a natural art object:
Elm "Eye of the Poet"

"Elm-Eye".
